Request deletion without the app
Use the email button above, or copy the address shown below and send a message with the subject “Tik Boom account deletion request”. Include the email used for your account so we can locate it. Do not send a password, verification code, or card details.
We may ask for an appropriate verification step before deleting account data. You do not need to reinstall the app to start the request.
Delete within the app
In Parent Settings, open account management, choose Delete account, and follow the confirmation step. This path removes the Firebase identity, phone record, account-linked complimentary membership, and local app data on that device, and turns off news and offers notifications there.
The Tik Boom server deletes the account’s subscription record in Cloud Firestore, its device records, and its copy of the mobile number with the account: at once for an account that signs in with email, and within a day for an account that signs in with Apple or Google.
Deleting the account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. If a subscription is active, cancel its renewal in the App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it.
Delete a phone number and keep the account
If you added a phone number, you can remove it in Parent Settings without deleting the account or subscription. You can also use the “Request phone number deletion only” button above and send the request from your account email, even after uninstalling.
We may verify account ownership before removing the number. Do not send your password or verification code in the request.
Data removed and data that may remain
We handle deletion requests for the account and associated data, including the phone record and the Tik Boom server’s copy of it, complimentary memberships, the subscription record, and device records. Learning progress is stored locally on the device; it can be removed in the app or by clearing the app’s data from the device.
Apple or Google may retain purchase records under their own policies. We may retain limited records to verify purchases, prevent a gift being used twice, or meet a legal obligation. No single retention period covers all such records. When processing your request, we will identify what remains, why, and its retention period or end event, and remove data that is no longer needed.
