Why leave paper?
The paper book served you for years. It also has four problems that cost you money.
Every shop owner knows them. Here they are, and what Daftari does about each one.
- 01
Pages get lost
A page tears, tea spills on it, or the whole book goes missing. What was written goes with it, and so does your money.
In Daftari: Sign in with the same account on a new phone to restore the last successful copy of books, amounts and photos.
- 02
Sums go wrong
You add it up with a pen late at night, tired, and get a different number from yesterday. Ten riyals here, ten there, and it adds up.
In Daftari: Each customer's balance is worked out the moment you save, and the total is always in front of you, to the halala.
- 03
"I never took that"
A customer says they never took it, or a number was written over another. All you have is your handwriting and your word.
In Daftari: Every entry has its date. Edit and delete freely: the change stays in the history, and their statement is ready to send.
- 04
Asking is awkward
Asking feels awkward, so you put it off day after day, and the debt grows.
In Daftari: Late customers are listed for you, and one tap opens WhatsApp with a polite reminder and their statement ready, in their language.

A shop owner's tools, in the notebook's words.

Late customers, listed for you
Choose how many days without a payment makes a customer late. Daftari lists them, and you remind them one by one with a tap.
Works offline

A profit calculator you understand
Enter what an item costs, its price, how many you sell and your monthly costs. It tells you what is left, and how much you need to sell to break even.
One book per business
The grocery has its book, the home business has its own, and one main book brings them together.
One language for the app, another for messages
Set the app to Arabic, English or Hindi for whoever is at the counter, and WhatsApp messages reach each customer in the language you choose for them.
Every change is kept
Edit and delete freely. The history keeps what changed and when.
A credit limit per customer
Set one limit for everyone or one for a single customer, and Daftari warns you before a customer goes over it.
