Terms of Use
Last updated:
- Service: Daftari is a tool for recording customer credit and repayments in shops and businesses. It does not move money, lend money or process payments.
- Subscription: the app works on the phone free for one month from first use; after that it needs a monthly or yearly subscription at the price shown when subscribing, through the App Store or Google Play. Export is available during the free month and with a subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel it in your store account settings; refunds follow the store's policy.
- Record: the book is the business's own record for organising its accounts. It is not an official document or a contract between the business and its customers.
- Responsibility: the business owner is responsible for what they record and for the reminders they send from their own phone.
- Ownership: book data belongs to the business, and its amounts are on the owner's phone. The owner can delete it, or export it during the free month or with a subscription.
- Acceptable use: do not use the app to harass or shame anyone, or to record data about people you have no business relationship with.
- Availability: books work on your phone, with a copy of names, amounts and photos on your account. Recovery uses the last successful copy; check its status in Settings. Record on one phone at a time. Device backups and regular exports offer additional recovery options.
- Changes: we may update these terms and will notify you in the app about material changes.
- Privacy: see the Privacy Policy.
